Border trainers found success at Saturday's Wodonga Caulfield Cup Day with Peter Maher, Rob Wellington and David O'Prey all seeing winners over the line.

Maher claimed a first, second and third place finish, with Bad Obsession taking out race three.
Wellington took out race four over 1590 metres with Dobell, while O'Prey finished the day on a high claiming the last race with Mayor of Methul.

"He was unlucky last start, so it was good to have everything go to plan," O'Prey said.
"He's been building and starting to reach his full potential, so I think he'll get a bit further distance wise and we might have a bit more fun with him."
O'Prey also had a first time runner in the second race of the day in Tori Marguerite.
"She showed plenty of ability and she'll come out the other side better for the experience," O'Prey said.
Five of the six races for the day were won by female jockeys.
