The pub's Facebook page has been re-activated and posted at the weekend: "The Kinross is back.
"We are undergoing some much needed love on the woolshed and will have opening details soon.
"Get excited Albury because the best pub in Albury is about to return even better than before."
The identity of the pub's new owners wasn't revealed.
The Border Mail attempted to confirm details of the pending re-opening on Monday.
It's understood the new owners are from outside the Albury-Wodonga area.

Mr Birse and Mr Quinn had signed up on a long-term lease less than a year earlier.
The Kinross freehold was offered for sale via an expressions of interest process in April this year.
The Border Mail also attempted to contact Mr Moscher for comment.
The Kinross previously played host to some of Australia's biggest musical names including Jimmy Barnes, Vanessa Amorosi and Shannon Noll, plus regular country music performers, Adam Brand, Beccy Cole, Adam Harvey and James Blundell.
The Kinross has a 3am liquor licence with capacity to host large events for 5000-plus people.
