A 50-year-old man has blown almost five times the legal limit after being pulled by police in Wodonga.

He returned a reading of .243 after officers stopped his Toyota station wagon on Baelon Street at about 1.30pm on Tuesday.
Police say they were left shaking their heads when checks revealed he was an unlicensed driver.
The car was impounded at a cost of $1115 and he is is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and other driving related offences.
