In her first year with Yarrawonga the talented 17-year-old landed the club's A-grade best and fairest award and racked up an impressive 725 goals, the third highest figure recorded for the season.
The Goulburn Valley league export said the decision to shift from Shepparton United to the Pigeons this year came after influence from her brother, Jack, with the accurate shooter set to continue calling Yarrawonga home next season.
Brooks said she was humbled by the recognition for her efforts in her debut.
"To be a winner in your first year is a big honour," Brooks said.
"I didn't expect it at all, but I'm very grateful for the girls for a great year.
"It was really humbling to receive the award, it was a great experience."

Brooks' accuracy under the ring made her an asset for the Pigeons, who were knocked out in the preliminary final by premiers Wangaratta.
But the versatile youngster also shows ability at both ends, often switching to defence.
Brooks credited the guidance from long time Pigeons' players and coaches Kaitlyn Cummins, Laura Irvine and Bridget Cassar in helping shape her this season.
"They're a great group of girls to play with, especially Bridget," Brooks said.
"She's been at the club for ages and has definitely had an influence on me wanting to stay next year.
"It's been great to play with Kait and Laura, they're really great coaches."
Brooks said her transition into the league was seamless, with it showing many similarities to that of the Goulburn Valley league.
She also recently competed in the Netball Victoria Regional Titles representing the North East alongside other young guns from the O and M, finishing fourth.
"It was a great effort from us county girls I thought to get that far," Brooks said.
