The club has received $100,000 to build one court for exclusive netball use and another multi-purpose court from the Victorian Government.
Committeeman Shayne Ried welcomed the netball funding.
"It strengthens our club even more so," he said.
"If we are to amalgamate or stay where we are, we've got two brand new courts."
The Bulldogs presently only have one netball court and the club has won funding from the same pool that Glenrowan received $200,000 last year for netball facility improvements.
But the club recently went into recess with new changerooms, court and lighting nearing completion with the venue set to be used initially for pre-season matches with a major shortage of grounds in the Wangaratta area.
Meanwhile, the AFLNEB has announced a "definitive feasibility study" will be held to determine the future of football and netball in the Upper Murray beyond 2020.
A final report and recommendations will be presented to the AFLNEB Commission before June 30 next year with Mary Hoodless, a consultant with extensive experience working in rural and remote communities, engaged to assist in the crucial process.
"To be able to make informed decisions beyond 2020 with consideration to all Upper Murray communities, decision makers need to consult, analyse and be appropriately informed and make recommendations which allow time for any potential actions and planning," AFLNEB regional manager John O'Donohue said.
"Whilst we have no predetermined outcome, the sustainability of participation opportunities and community engagement in football and netball for the Upper Murray beyond 2020 is of paramount importance."
Rutherglen Football-Netball Club has also secured $100,000 from the state government to install 100 lux lighting at its home ground, Barkly Park.
