Albury Umpires League has been a long-term tenant of Noreuil Park, but has less umpires in its ranks compared to AFL North-East Border which administers umpires for all leagues in the North-East.
The AFLNEB umpires have been training at Xavier Oval in recent seasons, but will return to Noreuil Park next season and train on Tuesday and Thursday nights and AUL umpires who officiate in the Hume and Picola leagues training Monday and Wednesday.
Albury Tigers juniors train on Tuesday and Thursday before the umpires.
"We're the ones who have compromised the most and I can't see how it can't work if everyone is fair and reasonable," AUL life member Roger Lescun said.
AFLNEB regional manager John O'Donohue said its was pleasing umpiring could return to Noreuil Park.
"We look forward to further developing umpiring in our region to the betterment of our leagues," he said.
The amounts each body will contribute to infrastructure improvements at Noreuil Park haven't been revealed with an offer for some upgraded changerooms from Albury Tigers unlikely to be taken up.
"It is unsure whether they will suit the area around Noreuil Park," Albury Council parks and recreation team leader David Armstrong said this week.
