That came with another appearance in Albury Local Court, on Tuesday, by Tap-Ky Duong, who has yet to enter any pleas to three separate sets of charges.
In total, Duong, 41, is facing seven counts of aggravated indecent assault where the victim is under the authority of the offender.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The case was set to proceed soon after magistrate Rodney Brender took to the bench at 9.30am, with defence lawyer Mark Cronin indicating the matters were set to go for charge certification.
"I understand my friend has three charge certificates to be filed," he said.
Director of Public Prosecutions representative Amy Paddison said that was correct.
But she said there would be a brief delay to this certification, as she needed to first hold discussions with the Albury police informant who investigated the claims.
Ultimately, Duong was only required to sit in the chair set aside for defendants behind the bar table for a couple of minutes just before 2.30pm after this process was finalised
Duong's case was adjourned to December 17, when - the court was told - he was likely to be committed for trial.
But first, a case conference between the Crown and the defence will be held on November 22.
"Bail (is) to continue on each of the matters," Mr Cronin said.
Three apprehended violence orders in place to prevent Duong from making contact with three protected persons were also adjourned to the December date.
It is alleged that Duong indecently assaulted a seven-year-old girl at GT Aquatics on multiple occasions between April 2014 and April 2015.
The third set of charges alleged that he touched an eight-year-old girl's vagina while he was her swimming instructor, on two separate occasions in 2015.
Hearings that had been set down to test the first two sets of charges were vacated when the third set of charges were laid in late May.
