AMY Shark woos Wodonga as she smashes out a scintillating set to boot.
The indie pop singer-songwriter wants Wodonga-rites to feel the love as she treats the 800-strong audience at The Cube Wodonga on Thursday night to a powerful show studded with intimate storytelling.
Based between her Gold Coast hometown and the US, Shark is thrilled a second Wodonga show has been added to her regional tour after the original Friday night show sold out in just 10 minutes.
"I'm a long way from home and I didn't know if anyone would know my music here, but you do!" she quips.
"I love you Wodonga!!"
Giant letters spell out Shark's stage name on the set, framing a stunning light show.
Shark treats fans to a 90-minute journey of her musical repertoire, from energetic smash-hits with her band to beautiful tunes sung simply and seated centre-stage with only her guitar.
Crowd favourites are Mess Her Up, Weekends and Psycho.
And while Shark's star is rising as she plays sellout shows the world over since her breakthrough hit single Adore, Shark stays true to her roots.
Sharing a moment with the crowd, Shark confides that not everyone is party to the Amy Shark Music cult.
"When you leave tonight you will meet people not like you and who don't like my music," she teases.
"Tell 'em I said 'hi'!"
Saving her smash hit off Love Monster,I SaidHi, to the last of the night, Shark did not disappoint.
Amy Shark Regional Tour will play Geelong on Saturday night and three shows in Hobart, Wednesday to Friday.
Top support acts were Sly Withers and Eleanor Jacks.
