Ruth Ridley was last seen in Albury on October 24, after visiting family in Tumbarumba.
She was reported missing on October 30, by a family member who held grave fears for her welfare.
The body of her husband, Gary, was found a day earlier.
Police are still searching for the missing woman who is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 175 cm tall with a thin build, fair complexion and blonde hair.
Riverina police Inspector Adrian Telfer said Ruth Ridley was last seen in the Albury area at a supermarket.
"That is the last time we can confirm her whereabouts," he said.
"We are still appealing for members of the Riverina or wider community if you have any information to come forward please."
Police believe Mrs Ridley, aged 58, travelled from her home in Port Macquarie to Tumbarumba on Friday 18 October 2019, in a dark blue Mitsubishi Pajero towing a caravan.
The Pajero was found on Shelley Road, Shelley, last Tuesday, with the body of Mr Ridley inside.
His death is being treated as suspicious.
Family members were still holding out hope she will be found alive, with the police air wing and SES involved in the case, along with Border officers.
Christeene Ridley said her sister-in-law, a mother-of-three, hadn't contacted family members.
She wrote on social media that she hoped the missing woman would contact her boys soon.
