A 61-year-old Rutherglen man has been charged with reckless conduct endangering life, after a 25-year-old was shot in the arm on Monday.
Police were told a 25-year-old Brunswick man was sitting in the passenger seat of a car driving on Cornishtown Road at about 10.30am when he was struck by a bullet.
The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his arm.
A 61-year-old Rutherglen man has been charged with reckless conduct endangering life.
He has been bailed to appear at the Wodonga Magistrates' Court on 10 March 2020.

A 25-year-old Brunswick man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening arm injuries after he was shot in Rutherglen on Monday.
Police were told a 25-year-old Brunswick man was sitting in the passenger seat of a car driving on Cornishtown Road, Rutherglen, at about 10.30am when he was struck by a bullet.
Police have deemed the incident an accident. Police believe a man was shooting on a private property when a shot went astray. The man has come forward and is assisting police.
