HOWLONG will take a new-look midfield into next season with the Spiders luring four former players back to the club.
Clint Brunnenmeyer and Toby Pargeter have signed on as assistant-coaches while Dane Keenes and Manny Hughes will also return to the Hume league.
Brunnenmeyer has been coaching Queensland club Mayne and knocked back several offers to play under David Miles.
"It's been really positive for the club to be able to get locals back who are one-pointers," club president Jason Kohn said.
"You are never going to be able to replace someone like Steve Jolliffe, but they are all good players and we're excited to have them back at the club."
