Glasheen was holding a guitar and a shopping bag when she asked for a lift before pulling out the weapon and pointing it at the victim, and demanding he take her to an address.
The man feared for his safety and allowed her inside, and drove her around Wodonga with the blade pointed at him.

She wanted to get out at the Vinnies store on High Street and told the victim she had only just gotten out of jail for armed robbery and needed a wig.
She was arrested at Wodonga Plaza about 2.15pm and has remained in jail since.
While her lawyer, Anette Fassioms, on Thursday told the Wodonga Magistrates Court it was unclear her client understood the allegations against her, Glasheen insisted she plead guilty.
The offender, who has a long history of crime and mental health issues, said she had spent seven months in custody and just wanted to get things over.
"I don't want to see you anymore Anette," she said.
"It's over.
"I never want to see you again."
She was then given a formal warning by magistrate Peter Dunn and asked how she wanted to plead.
"Guilty, your honour," she replied via a video link from custody.
Despite the plea, Glasheen will remain in prison and asked when she could get bail.
The court heard she would need to apply at a later date.
The prosecution is opposed to her release.
There had been plans to give Glasheen a neurological test, but she said she didn't want to and it was unclear if the test will go ahead.
The court had previously heard she owed about 18 months for breaching parole in Queensland for robbery.
Her Victorian matters will be dealt with first.
She will return to court on February 3.
