At Sunset Strip, the only people left are those who couldn't leave. Arriving home from cancer treatment, Caroline finds the lake dried up and the holiday-makers long gone. Yet her younger sister, the ever-optimistic Phoebe, remains doggedly hopeful. Between rehab, caring for her demented Dad and losing her kids to DOCS, Phoebe has found love in Teddy, a knockabout local lad. Playwright Suzie Miller examines love, family dysfunction and making the best of bad situations. Equally moving and hopeful, Sunset Strip finds the humour in tragedy.
