After four rounds of play Gardiner is yet to be dismissed from the crease.
"He's been awesome," Henty's Greg Schuller said.
Mark White has also found form early, while the club has welcomed the return of Daniel Terlich this season.
"Daniel's returned to the club this year after a couple of years in Wagga and his bowling has been fantastic," Schuller said.

The side is now bracing for what they expect will be a tough contest against reigning premiers Rand.
"They're realistically the best side in the competition," Schuller said.
"They've got a lot of all-rounders in their side who can bat and bowl well.
"It should be pretty tough."
Schuller is confident they have the available side this weekend to put their best foot forward.
"We'll be pretty close to full strength," Schuller said.
"If we can take wickets it will make it pretty tough."
Henty and Rand will play at Paech Oval.
In other games this weekend, Walbundrie take on Holbrook, Culcairn will play Osborne, The Rock-Yerong Creek meet Brock-Burrum and Lockhart will clash with Walla.
