The Wodonga Toy Library has been lending items to kids since 1979, and the group celebrated the milestone at the weekend.

"It was started to reach out to families that may not be able to afford to buy toys," Ms Crowe said.
"We try to access as many people as possible in the community.
"There were people at the event not just from Albury and Wodonga, but from Talgarno and Tallangatta.
About 80 people attended Saturday's celebration, which involved a cake cutting, and details of the group's history.
Mr Crowe said the quality of toys had changed in recent years, but the service remained popular with children.
"It's a good way for people to be able to try out toys," she said.
