East was stripped of its six winning points last week after the Bushies appealed the result, but the Crows are now appealing that decision.
"Sean Barrett is the vice-president and he's spoken to (secretary) John McMillan at CAW in regard to the fact that we lost the points," president Andrew Wilkes said from Brisbane yesterday.
"We're seeking the guidance from CAW about the right channels to appeal to dot the i's and cross t's to make sure the appeal process gets followed properly, but we will be appealing."

East won the match on November 2 by five runs.
The Crows were bowled out for 207, but were awarded another 10 runs after the Bushies were penalised for a slow over rate.
Chasing a revised target of 218 for victory, the Bushies finished on 9-212 for their 50 overs.
However, the Bushies appealed the decision, claiming East Albury's Luke Brunckhorst failed to field as required.
Brunckhorst was injured while top-scoring with 71.
If a player is to not take the field, the umpires must be notified he is unable to fulfill his minimum 20-over commitment.
The umpires weren't notified of Brunckhorst's injury.
East's winning points were frozen during the appeal and once CAW found the Crows at fault, it awarded Tallangatta the points.
When quizzed on Tallangatta's appeal, Wilkes wouldn't comment.
