A Taste of Wodonga #2 at Miss Amelie in Wodonga on Monday will celebrate the diversity of homegrown food on the Border.
It will also launch a partnership with We Eat Local, an online platform and app that reveals connections between restaurants, suppliers and producers.
Australian landscape architect and television presenter Costa Georgiadis will join the event.
Wodonga Local Food Network coordinator Megan Hunt said A Taste of Wodonga would bring together foodies, farmers and chefs.
"We want to raise the profile of the local food economy, connect foodies with producers and inspire people to think about growing their own food," she said.
Ms Hunt said the Melbourne-based We Eat Local app was being rolled out to the regions.
"We are the first region to have it," Ms Hunt said.
"We Eat Local looks at a 100 kilometre radius of Wodonga. We're looking at We Eat Local as a tool to house food connections; the app will be continually developed."
Border restaurants, suppliers and producers will team up to offer canapes at A Taste of Wodonga #2.
Participants include Miss Amelie, La Maison Restaurant, Meraki Produce, Andiamo & Pinchos Catering, Happy Hens Eggs, Almar Organics, Grassroots Beef and Meat Talk Butchers.
A Taste of Wodonga #2 runs from 6pm.
The event is part of the Albury Wodonga Sustainable Living Festival.
