The club had up to nine travellers last season - some admittedly club juniors - racking up an 11-match winning streak before suffering a shock 34-point loss to Lavington in the grand final.
"We can't not have it, but we don't want to go any more (nine) than that," coach Luke Morgan said.

"We're looking to bring some players in from the Ovens and King, while we've retained most of the players who played reserve grade and we've got a great batch in our thirds that we're looking to develop."
Opposition coaches have privately stated how difficult it would be with that many travellers, although the Pies have contested the past three grand finals for one flag.
Meanwhile, Brad Melville has settled on a VFL club.
"He's been invited to do the pre-season with Richmond and we really encourage him to further his ambitions," Morgan said.
