Blake Bray, who was picked up by Carlton in the 2011 rookie draft, has signed with the Tigers after his partner moved to the region through the army.
The 26-year-old is 191-centimetres and played three AFL pre-season games for the Blues.
Bray is believed to have played only a handful of matches since due to employment.
Half-forward Matt Eastman, 23, played for Greater Western Sydney's reserves before crossing to West Adelaide where he was a consistent performer in second grade.
Eastman spent last season with East Coast Eagles in AFL Sydney but was hampered by a quad injury.
"They haven't played a lot of football lately so there is no pressure on them at all
- Tom McGrath
Albury co-coach Tom McGrath said Bray and Eastman would carry no expectations after "literally falling into our laps".
"They both pretty much lobbed on our doorstep," McGrath said.
"Blake has come to the region through his partner's employment and got in touch with the club while Matt was visiting the area, saw the ground and sent the footy club an email.
"They haven't played a lot of football lately so there is no pressure on them at all.
"We know their best is good but anything they can bring is really a bonus for us."
Eastman played junior football with Albury players Keiran Ellis and Jim Grills.
The arrival of Bray and Eastman comes after the Tigers signed Griffith brothers Jacob and Lucas Conlan.
