Alatalo Bros general manager Tony Moyle, whose firm is recasting the site for the church, said yesterday he expected the church and related buildings to be knocked down in March-April.
Construction of the new homes is tipped to occur from the middle of next year and take six months.
Expressions of interest have been taken from potential buyers, but sales were put on hold by the VCAT action.
