Brian Joseph Hickman appeared before the Wodonga Magistrates Court this week after being charged with six offences by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
The Wodonga man's registration was suspended by the Psychology Board of Australia on September 14 last year.
Despite this, Hickman allegedly claimed to be registered and gave a report the following month for a patient.
It's alleged he referred to himself as a psychologist in the report, despite being banned from doing so.
IN OTHER NEWS:
He allegedly provided other reports for an offender on January 11 this year and was allegedly engaged by Corrections Victoria in April to provide services to an offender.
The Health Complaints Commissioner announced in June it was investigating Hickman, and noted he was banned from providing any professional supervision to other health service providers or from operating any business that provided health services.
Commissioner Karen Cusack said the measures were taken to protect the public.
Hickman was charged with the latest offences on October 14.
He has not entered any pleas.
The matter will return to court on January 22.
