The architecture firm, CHROFI, want Summer Place to be like a big community lounge-room, and the design will feel "bright and light" but significantly cooler underneath the shade.
It's a MAMA-led program, supported by Albury Council, and follows the installation of 'Plastic Place', a six-metre tall installation made from 20 tonnes of plastic collected over four weeks at the Albury Waste Management Centre.
It was created by architect Raffaello Rosselli, expressing "the gravity of the amount of plastic waste" we produce.
MAMA intends to do these installations every Summer, to promote architecture, design, and bringing the museum experience out into the public realm.
Work is currently underway to install Summer Place and weather permitting, should be completed by November 22.
The opening dates are November 29, to March 29 2020.
