Sheree Butler had gifts for her son Bentley in the back of her Mitsubishi Lancer.
The car was taken outside a Sutherland Street home in Lavington on Saturday night or Sunday morning, and torched at Splitters Creek.
Ms Butler said she would struggle to get to work, take her son to daycare and replace the presents, which were taken from the car by the thieves.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"I'm really upset, especially being in the lead up to Christmas," she said.
"I really want the people caught."
Keys to the vehicles appeared to have been stolen from inside the house.
"It's something you don't expect to happen to you," Ms Butler said.
She will also have to pay to have the car towed.
