Sky Call run a slashing second at Bendigo at her most recent start, prompting Beer to test his lightly raced mare in city class.
The four-year-old mare won first-up from a spell at Albury last month and steps-up to 1200m today after running over 1100m at Bendigo.
"I thought it was an impressive effort to win first-up at Albury," Beer said.
"She was stiff not to win at Bendigo after being held-up and she heads to Sandown in terrific order.
"I think she gets into a winnable race.
"Having Craig Williams booked to ride only fuels my confidence.
"Craig rode for me a few times when I was based at Mornington but this will be his first ride for the stable since I relocated to Albury."

Beer has always held a high opinion of Sky Call who had her first start in city company at Flemington at the end of last preparation.
She finished at the tail of the field on that occasion but Beer said there were excuses.
"We gave her a crack over 1400m at Flemington at the end of her last preparation but she sustained a hock injury in the run," he said.
"It's pleasing to see she has fully recovered from the injury and looks to have gone to another level.
