Just a week after a 16-year-old North Albury girl was pulled from her burning home with stab wounds the Border community has gifted a household full of donations.

The teenager and her mother lost everything in the blaze on November 11 but donations have flooded in with new and second hand furniture among the haul which will help them get back on their feet.
Organisers Tabitha McMahon and Martin Clemson have collected everything from beds, couches and TVs to linen and kitchen appliances and said the young family are "overwhelmed with support".
"Tabatha started the collection and I just stepped in when I saw her getting a bit lost and we set up some drop off points and got everything together," Mr Clemson said.
"My wife Tash also helped out going and collecting things as well as the teenager's school donated a bunch of things.

"I have actually had to turn people away we had so many donations.
"Once they get settled in their new apartment they will need to start looking at what else they need." Mr Clemson said for now if anyone wants to donate anything the best option is for Coles and Woolworths giftcards.
The teenager and her mother said they are thankful for the firefighters, police officers and paramedics who helped save her life.
"They are really thankful for everyone's support and she is doing really well considering the circumstances," Mr Clemson said.
