At the official launch of the 2020 event on Wednesday Albury Wodonga Health regional partnerships and planning executive director Janet Chapman said the money will go towards a therapeutic garden space at the mental health facility.

"Proceeds from the City2City will fund the first stage of the creation and design of a therapeutic garden space that is safe, tranquil, multipurpose and family friendly," she said.
"The upgrade will allow for therapeutic group programs and social activities which contribute to a sense of community, skills development and social enjoyment."
City2City co-founder Michelle Hudson the 15-kilometre fun run will be added along side the 10 kilometre, 7.5 kilometre and popular walk and talk.
