A man given plenty of chances to avoid jail for an armed robbery at a Wodonga home has been locked up after repeatedly breaching an order.

Ivan Edwards and three other people attended the victim's McCrohan Court property on January 10, 2016, in a bid to recover a stolen bracelet.
After a conversation with the victim at the entry to the home, Edwards threatened to rip the door off its hinges and the group was allowed inside.
Robert Darke, who wore a balaclava, produced a knife from his sleeve and confronted the victim with Edwards.
The man told Edwards he didn't have the bracelet.

Edwards demanded the victim hand over his wallet and took $110.
He told the victim he could have the cash back if he took drugs around to his home, but the group went to Elgin's and bought alcohol and played the pokies with the cash.
Edwards served 79 days in jail before being released from custody on a corrections order.
The Wodonga County Court recently heard corrections staff had made "every attempt" to treat and rehabilitate the now 41-year-old.
"You failed to take up the assistance offered to you," Judge Christopher Ryan said, and noted he had offended seven further times.
Edwards had spent about seven weeks in drug rehabilitation, which counted towards his 300 hours of unpaid community work, but had otherwise failed to comply with the order.
He had discharged himself from treatment.
Judge Ryan sentenced the 41-year-old to a minimum 18-month jail term with a two-year maximum.
