It reached 40.9 degrees at the Albury Airport, more than a degree higher than the previous record of 39.5 degrees recorded on November 26, 1997.
It was also the hottest November day on record in Yarrawonga where temperatures peaked at 42.4 degrees.

The previous record was set on November 19, 2009 when the mercury hit 42 degrees.
