The three burglars found a key to a safe, which they took thousands of dollars from, and stole meat from a kitchen on the way out.
Police released footage from both incidents on Thursday, with one man seen moving a camera at the sports club after entering.
Detective Senior Constable Justin Foots said he hoped members of the public would provide information to police.
"We're certainly looking at whether or not there is a link there or not, but it's not clear at this point," he said of both incidents.
