Sydney set to enjoy the magic

In January 2020, the Flying Fruit Fly Circus will re-imagine their upcoming Albury Big Top show for the York Theatre stage at Sydney's Seymour Centre as a highlight of the Sydney Festival.

Now widely recognised as one of Australia's premier youth performing arts organisations, its talented young artists are used to performing in front of big crowds.

"We are thrilled to round off our 40 year celebrations with the Sydney Festival," said artistic director Anni Davey.

"It will follow on from the four fabulous days we are staging in Albury-Wodonga next month, ensuring we prioritise our own community and party at home first!

"We have a wonderful, loyal audience in Sydney and we can't wait to share this joyful show with them. We intend to raise the roof of the Seymour Centre."

Time Flies is an evolution of Back in the Big Top and tickets are already on sale and flying out of the festival box office.

Created by Anni Davey Time Flies is described as epic, jubilant and gravity-defying, featuring a massive performance ensemble of 50 young artists, performing all together on tour for the first time.

Audiences can expect to be amazed by the thrilling acrobatic and aerial skills of our country's top young circus artists.

Time Flies plays the Sydney Festival at the Seymour Centre from January 14 - 19 and has already been announced as a Top 20 festival pick by Time Out.
