The Roos had Baranduda all out for 118 before taking to the pitch in Yackandandah to make 119 off 30 overs.
Skipper Bailey Glass finished with 87 runs not out in what he said was one of the side's best displays this season.
"We started off really well with the ball which is something we've been working on, so that was good," Glass said.
"My first probably five years of A-grade I struggled to get runs so it's good to finally be getting a couple.
"As a whole team I think we played very well."
Andrew Lockett continued his impressive form with the ball, while Cam Evans finished the day with three catches.
Mick Walker also bowled well for the premiers, however his performance was marred by a suspected hamstring injury.
Vince Moran started to break away with the bat for Baranduda before he was halted with 46 runs, while Jayden Barter made 16.
Zach Leach took one wicket bowling Roos' Alphy Hosie.
Yackandandah have retained the top spot after carrying through their winning form from last season.
Glass said the past two weeks' clashes against Baranduda and Mt Beauty have given them a good indication of where they stand.

"I guess it's good to see them early in the year to see where you're at and where you have to improve against a bit of pressure," Glass said.
"Everyone plays their role every week and does their job, so we know what we have to do.
"I think we're a tight knit group and we all get along well and have a bit of fun out there.
"It's good to be just ticking off the wins."
Elsewhere, Dederang claimed the points against Eskdale.
Dederang set the pace making 174 runs after batting first with 57 coming off the bat of Ethan Albon, while Eskdale fell short with 141.
Corowa claimed their third win of the season after upstaging Bethanga at the Bethanga Recreation reserve.
Daniel Athanitis and Matthew Grantham both racked up half centuries while aiding their side to victory.
In the remaining two games on Saturday, Kiewa were too good for Barnawartha-Chiltern, while Mt Beauty rolled Howlong in Mt Beauty.
