Farrell blasted 151 from 161 balls, including 15 boundaries and three sixes, as the visitors humbled the home team by 180 runs.
Since joining the Eagles in December, 2017, Farrell's top three scores have been against the wooden spooners, including last season's 117 and 70.
"It was the David Farrell show, he's been heading towards that for a while," Michael Booth said of his co-coach.
Farrell - who opened the batting for NSW at under 17 level alongside former Test batsman Nic Maddinson, hitting half-centuries in the first two games - is one of the association's best players to watch in full flight as he can both caress or crack the ball.
"He was hitting the ball to wherever he wanted to and one six over cover was pretty impressive to watch," Booth said.
And the left-hander also carried extra motivation into the game.
"This game last year was one of the last that Ryan McNeil came and watched and both 'Faz' and Nat (Sariman) really put a focus on that day, they wanted to bat well," Booth said.
"'Faz' made a century and Nat made 80 and yesterday again we touched on that game, how we remembered him coming and watching us.
"I think it would have been his 40th birthday on Friday too."
The enormously popular Ryan McNeil lost his long battle with cancer in June.

Sariman and Farrell certainly paid their respects to the club stalwart by posting a 131-run opening stand.
Farrell dominated the partnership with Sariman dismissed for 37.
It didn't slow Farrell, who was finally dismissed with the score on 238.
The Eagles finished on 5-279 and skittled Raiders for only 99.
Brad Freake claimed 3-27.
Raiders stunned premiers North Albury in one of the all-time great upsets in round two and followed that with a near-200 total in the loss to Wodonga.
But the club has failed to make three figures in the past fortnight and while a win isn't essential away to St Patrick's on Saturday, a stronger showing is a must.
The Eagles, meantime, are tracking the opposite direction, snaring three straight wins.
The club pipped New City in round three and also snared an upset over North.
