The 19-year-old ruckman and 18-year-old defender are the standout hopefuls from the Bushrangers' squad this season, with Ash tipped to go during the first round of selections on Wednesday night.
Albury product Kelly is likely to be picked up during the back end of the draft, while a number of other Bushrangers will also be in the hunt for rookie selection.
Bushrangers' coach Mark Brown said the duo are both deserving of the draft opportunity.
"At over 200 centimeters Ben ticks a lot of boxes," Brown said.
"His elite speed allows him to play key back and he's a beautiful kick of the footy.
"Lachlan's probably the most diligent athlete I've seen come through the program in six years.

"He just leaves no stone unturned in his preparation and his desire to get better.
"In his bottom age year we saw him as a potential draftee but we weren't sure at what level.
"To his credit, he just continues to grind away at his game and get better and better.
"He's going to get exactly what he deserves, which is an opportunity to play elite football."
Ash's sensational season saw him co-captain the Vic Country side in the NAB AFL under-18 championships where he starred, turning heads to achieve under-18 All Australian honours.
In his ten games with the Bushrangers the medium defender averaged 23 disposals.
Kelly returned to the Bushrangers this season for a third year and was utilised as a key back and ruckman.
Brown said Kelly's motivation to continue to build on and develop his skills has seen him reap the rewards this season.
"His top age year was solid, but I don't think he truly believed he could play at that standard," Brown said.
"He has worked on his contested footy and as a result his confidence has grown.
"We really hope he gets an opportunity."
The draft will be held over two nights on Wednesday and Thursday, with Ash to attend the first round at Marvel Stadium.
The pre-season and Rookie Draft will then be held on Friday, November 29.
19 players will be drafted during the first round across 12 clubs, with Gold Coast possessing the top two picks, including priority, as well as pick 15.
Three spots are also up for grabs with Port Adelaide during the first round.
