A woman has been charged with stealing from charity tins at Albury businesses after police found her hiding under a bed.
Police from the Murray River proactive crime team started an investigation after multiple charity tins were stolen in the city.
The 43-year-old woman was arrested in her West Albury home about 11am on Monday and charged with three counts of larceny and three counts of breaching a community-based order.
She was refused bail.
