Just five days before the beginning of summer, snow has fallen on Mount Hotham.
It comes as Albury-Wodonga experienced a day of hail, wind, rain and sunshine.
The mercury peaked early on Tuesday, hitting 28.1 degrees at 6.23am before dropping all the way to 11.3 degrees at 3.28pm.
It reached a low of -1.5 degrees at Mount Hotham on Tuesday, with a 'feels like' temperature of -10.7 degrees.
The Bureau of Meteorology have predicted temperatures will drop to -3 degrees in Mount Hotham on Wednesday, with a maximum temperature of 11 degrees.
While temperatures between four and 26 degrees are predicted for Albury-Wodonga.
