A 23-year-old man will face Wagga Local Court on Wednesday on a string of charges relating to drugs, dangerous driving, dealing with the proceeds of crime and a range of others over the fire.
The arrest was made after police received reports of a vehicle driving erratically on the Hume Highway near Tarcutta.
Police say the vehicle allegedly smashed into guard rails several times, causing the tyres to deflate and sending sparks into the nearby grassland.
