Corowa Civic's Dawn Hayman and YMGCR's Anne Miles both represented the national side at the event for the first time and certainly weren't overawed.
Hayman featured in the women's development lineup, winning two of the three tests against New Zealand.
She was unbeaten on the final day, teaming up with Ellen Ryan in the pairs to win 17-13 and 26-12 and also combining with Kira Bourke, Tiffany Brodie and Bolivia Millerick to snare a thrilling 16-15 win in the fours.

Miles also enjoyed an impressive debut in green and gold, with the senior women winning two of three test matches.
It was a strong final day for the recently-crowned Victorian Open pairs champion, lining up in the triples with Betty Herbertson and Louise Whitton for 17-9 and 17-11 triumphs.
The trio, along with Beth Quinlan, also played in the fours and beat the Kiwis 18-17.
Hayman also finished with a silver and a bronze medal at the Multi-Nations Invitational at the weekend.
The silver came in the fours with Carla Krizanic, Rebecca Van Asch and Kelsey Cotrell, falling 17-10 to fellow Australians Lynsey Clarke, Karen Murphy, Chloe Stewart and Natasha Scott.
Hayman and Cottrell defeated the Welsh team 20-19 to take bronze in the pairs.
