Pedestrian hit by car in Albury, but unable to be found

A spokeswoman said emergency services were called to Thurgoona Street on Thursday night.
A vehicle had reportedly struck the pedestrian, but the attending officers were unable to locate the victim.

The matter is being investigated by detectives, who are seeking witnesses and information.
"Police enquiries are continuing," the spokeswoman said.
