The player held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in the Saturday Lotto draw 4003, drawn at the weekend. Each entry took home a division one prize of $587,936.

In addition to scoring division one, her System 9 marked entry also won division three 18 times and division four 45 times, boosting her total prize to $609,545.

Sharing her excitement with NSW Lotteries on Monday, the woman relived the moment she checked her winning entry.

"What a wonderful Christmas we will be having," she said.

"I checked my ticket on Saturday night after a party. When the results appeared I was in sheer shock. I couldn't believe it."

The lucky winner said they have been playing those same numbers for about a decade.

When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the woman said she still couldn't think straight.

"Well it has arrived at the best time of the year," she said.

"We will certainly enjoy Christmas. But the rest, gosh, I couldn't even tell you at the moment.

"I'm still in shock, we will have to have a good think about it."

The winning entry was purchased at Nextra Sturt Mall.

Owner Natalie Sutherland said she was happy to have played a party in delivering her customer a life-changing Christmas present.

"We were so excited to hear that one of our customers had such a great win, especially so close to Christmas," she said.

"How incredible that must feel.

"Congratulations to her on her fantastic win, we hope this is life changing and we wish her all the happiness for many years to come."

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4003 on Saturday were 10, 30, 16, 22, 38 and 20 while the supplementary numbers were 42 and 14.
