The 20 year-old has been charged with supplying a prohibited drug, MDMA, and possessing a prohibited drug, ketamine.

Another man, 22, was found allegedly carrying 75 MDMA tablets, speed and cocaine and he will face court on December 19 on drug supply and possess charges.

Other Victorian men, 26 and 25, were also charged with supplying prohibited drugs at the weekend event.

Murray River police district chief Acting Superintendent Andrew Spliet said "it's disappointing that despite the warnings, we continue to detect the possession and supply of these illicit substances".

The outlining of the charges followed the drug-related death of festival goer Glenn Mcrae early on Sunday.

He reportedly had ingested cocaine, GHB and MDMA.

Tocumwal's NSW MP Helen Dalton said the death had not altered her opposition to pill testing.

"It's a tragedy and I feel for the parents and his friends," the Shooters, Farmers and Fishers MP, said.

"I think Strawberry Fields, from what I've heard, have done everything they could to keep people safe and at the end of the day people have to take responsibility for their own actions.

"The party don't condone pill testing and personally I don't think it's the answer.

"You need to be the boss of yourself but I'm absolutely devastated."

Mr Mcrae, 24, was taken to a medical tent at the festival at 12.45am and died about 2am after cardiac arrest.

He had recently moved to Melbourne from Shepparton after being educated on the Sunshine Coast.

"You were such a quality bloke always up for a chat and a laugh," Wangaratta-raised friend Abbey Macklan wrote on Facebook.

Mr Mcrae's Facebook posts showed he was a regular concert-goer and had attended the Strawberry Fields festival previously.

Ms Dalton said she had contacted by some people from Tocumwal that would like the event end, but she believed it should continue.

"I would hate to think the festival wouldn't go ahead, but as I keep saying people need to take responsibility for their own behaviour," she said.

Berrigan Shire mayor Matthew Hannan sent condolences to Mr Mcrae's family and the emergency workers who were with him.

He said the council, festival organisers, police and ambulance staff had "worked extremely hard" to ensure the safety of the event and it was premature to talk about its future.

However, Cr Hannan declined to comment on pill testing and said the council was not looking to "advocate going down that track".
