A standout clash between section three's Taylor and Cannon paved the way for a good morning of competition in ladies tennis action in Albury on Tuesday.
Solid contributions by Norelle Webb, Beth Simpson, Suzie Finlay and Jenny Kirby saw the former home by just two games in the tight clash, with Cecily McHarg best for Cannon.

Sally Bulle was in great touch for her team in a four sets to two victory over Rouvray in section one pennant action, with Chris Essex claiming two sets for her side in the battle.

In section two tennis action, straight forward wins went the way of teams Lee and Staughton to round out play at the grasscourts.
The next junior Sportspower tournament will be held this Sunday in Wangaratta before returning in February in Yarrawonga.
