Moorcroft has spent the past nine seasons with Bundoora in the Northern Football league.
The 2000 premiership Bomber was contemplating retirement after 28-years of senior football.

But the 43-year-old has been coaxed into one more season by Bright who finished runner-up to Milawa in the grand final this year.
"We are thrilled to announce that Gary Moorcroft will be pulling on the Mountain Man guernsey for season 2020," the club posted on its Facebook page.
"Gary comes to Bright following the recruitment of good friend and now Bright local Paull Harrison."
Moorcroft is renowned for winning the 2001 Mark of the Year after his spectacular grab over Brad Johnson.
The small forward has won three flags with Bundoora and league goalkicking title on three occasions.
