But he won't forget the latest in a hurry.
Aaron has opened the bowling in first grade with his daughter, Ebony, for the past fortnight and admits it's been a dream come true.
"Ryan (Withers) was umming and ahhing about who to open the bowling with and he decided to give Ebony a go," Hoskin said.
"It nearly brought a tear to my eye to be honest.
"You dream about doing it with your boys but never even think of playing with your daughter.
"It's pretty special."
Aaron, 40, and Ebony, 16, have led the Howlong attack in its past two matches against Baranduda and Corowa.
They bowled eight overs each on Saturday as the Spiders fell 80 runs short of victory against Corowa at Howlong.
While Ebony is still finding her feet in the district competition, she has taken 10 wickets this season including the figures of 4-5 against Bethanga in round two.
"There is always a fair bit of banter going on with whoever is bowling well or getting wickets," Hoskin laughed.
"Playing mens cricket is a lot harder but she's enjoying it."
Ebony has turned plenty of heads this season including being selected as a reserve for the NSW under 18 side to play in the national championships in Tasmania.
Corowa's Gabby Sutcliffe, who bowled at first change for the Roos against Howlong on Saturday, is in the same side.
Hoskin admits he may have to change his approach if he wants to get a game alongside his sons Toby, 13, and Jonty, 10.
"I'd like to do it but I might have to change my approach," he said.
"I might have to start bowling spin."
In other matches at the weekend, opener Greg McLennan's half-century helped Mt Beauty to a six-wicket victory over Dederang.
Eskdale edged out Baranduda by five runs in a thriller at Willow Park.
Defending 3-215, the Mountain Men held their nerve despite some strong batting from Rohan Pearce (50), Brett Allan (47) and Aidan Ryan (38).
Kiewa cruised to victory over Yackandandah thanks to a strong all-round bowling performance and Barnawartha-Chiltern were too strong for Bethanga.
