In a bid to provide different opposition, Albury, Wagga and Canberra sides locked horns at Wagga on Saturday.
Sharks led the way.
They defeated Tuggeranong Vikings (18-4), Wagga Bidgeegators (13-2) and Gungahlin Dragons (11-5).
Pool Pirates also impressed, accounting for Wagga Bidgeegators (8-6) and Gungahlin Dragons (9-6).
Albury Tigers defeated Gungahlin Dragons (14-6) and Tuggeranong Vikings (12-4).

The results will count for the Ovens and Murray competition with the next round to be played in January.
In men's matches, Sharks edged out Northside 13-11.
Shannon Gould was outstanding for the victors while Ben Douglass also turned in a strong performance.
Tyson Mutsch kept his side in touch with a lionhearted showing.
