Murray Youth Performing Arts (MYPA) director Libby Ellis said Sue was a loved and valued member of MYPA and the whole Border dance community.
She said two of Sue and her husband Syd's six adopted children - Luke, 18, and Jacinta, 12, - would perform in the school's production of Peter Pan.
"We thought it would be a fitting tribute for Sue because JM Barrie's story is about lost children who in the end get looked after when The Lost Boys are adopted," she said.
"Given how much Sue loved children and the extraordinary efforts she and Syd made for their children, it seemed appropriate to dedicate the ballet to Sue, who was a wonderful mother and so supportive of everyone."
MORE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS:
The dance school will also celebrate 30 years of classical ballet training on the Border.
First under Murray Youth Academy and Murray Youth Ballet, the school was renamed MYPA since Mrs Ellis took it over five years ago.
Former Murray Youth Ballet directors Rosemary Drewe and Katherine Drewe-Fraser will attend the show.
"Rosemary and Katherine established the school, teaching a high standard of classical ballet with the RAD syllabus," Mrs Ellis said.
"We've continued that excellent standard of teaching, building on their foundations."
Gabrielle Berry (Peter Pan), Jamieson Cummins (Wendy) and Sophie Dawson (Tinkerbell) will star in Peter Pan.
The second part of the program, Blast to the Past, showcases jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical and neo classical dance genres. It runs at Albury Entertainment Centre on Saturday from 2pm.
