RISING Wangaratta sprint star Jack Boulton has taken out two national titles at the Australian All Schools Championship in Perth.

Boulton underlined his ability to storming to victory in the 100m and 400m finals at the weekend.
He narrowly missed another gold medal in the 200m final after finishing second to Queenslander Ashley Wong by 0.09 of a second.
Boulton, who played his junior football for Kangaroos and is set to join Wangaratta Rovers, started the under-16 100m final as favourite after running 10.90 in his heat.
He then ran 10.83 in the final to win from Queenslander Kaleb Clark and Western Australian Jordan-Blaze Lightbourn.
Boulton grabbed the 400m title with a time of 48.04 which is a new under-16 Australian record.
Meanwhile, Wangaratta's Xavier Pitt came sixth in the under-14 discus with a throw of 32.56m and finished seventh in the javelin after throwing 36.75m.
