The club staged its first meeting last Saturday since Cox Plate day after undergoing rectification to improve drainage in the wake of the Albury Gold Cup being abandoned in March.
Club chief Steve Hetherton said the feedback from industry participants had been positive.
"All our local trainers felt the track has recovered well considering the short turnaround," Hetherton said.
"There was a little bit of sand kickback which is expected in the first couple of months.
"But not significant.
"There were no big divots and the track raced fairly and we were pleasantly surprised just how well it did race.
"Which is once again, a credit to our track staff."

The club attracted a crowd of more than 1400 for the first of its two festive meetings in the lead-up to Christmas.
It has received 141 nominations for the seven race TAB meeting on Saturday.
Both Benchmark 66 Handicap's will be the highlight.
The first over 1175m has attracted some handy nominations including the Phil Sweeney-trained Critical Reaction.
Critical Reaction is a recent addition to the Sweeney stable after previously being prepared by Team Hayes.
The four-year-old mare has won her past two starts at Berrigan and Hay but faces a rise in grade on Saturday.
The other Benchmark 66 over a mile is shaping as a competitive affair with Damselfy's Kept, Melors, Spanish Poet and Dottledo all in good recent form.
The Mitch Beer-trained Damselfy's Kept was a last-start winner of the Adaminaby Cup and is set to form part of the stables assault on next years Country Championship qualifier at Albury.
"We have got more bookings than last week and are expecting a bigger crowd on Saturday," Hetherton said.
"Once again there is plenty of activities for the kids including pony rides, jumping castles, tea cup ride and a visit from Santa."
