Firefighters have declared all grassfires in Thurgoona under control.

Murray River Police have advised residents road closures have been removed as RFS have declared two of three Thurgoona grassfires as under control.
The fire at Racecourse Road is not yet under control.
Police said emergency vehicles will remain in the area for some time.

NSW Rural Fire Service have declared the Meander Street fire as 'being controlled'.

NSW Rural Fire Service have confirmed multiple fast moving grassfires are burning in Thurgoona.
The service has issued watch and act alerts for the region, as both fires burn in strong north westerly winds.
RFS advised the Corrys Road and Meander Street fires are burning north of the Riverina Highway, and west of Table Top Road.
Some residents in the area have been asked to evacuate and Murray River Police have warned people to avoid driving in the area.
A number of roads have been closed and there is a traffic jam between Borella and Union roads and Thurgoona Drive.
Police have also told residents that if their child travels on bus 27 or 28, they can be collected at Thurgoona Public School.

Emergency services are on the scene of two grassfires.
At least three Fire and Rescue NSW units, along with Rural Fire Service crews, were attempting to put the blaze out and large plumes of smoke were visible on Tuesday afternoon.
Witnesses on Ceres Drive, near Hehir's Transport, said the flames were heading towards Elizabeth Mitchell Drive, which leads to Thurgoona.
It was listed as a watch and act with the NSW Rural Fire Service website saying "there is a heightened level of threat. Conditions are changing and you need to start taking action now to protect you and your family".
CFA units were also called in to help control the fire and firefighting helicopters have been dispatched.
Police are directing motorists away from the Corrys Road and Racecourse Road areas.
