Formed a decade ago, the Australian indie rock-folk music band will play in Wodonga on Thursday, April 9.
Following a successful US tour, Boy & Bear will deliver an extensive Australian headline tour behind Suck On Light, their celebrated comeback album released in September.
Suck On Light arrived after a four-year hiatus of professional and personal turmoil for the band.
Boy & Bear frontman David Hosking suffered from a rare gut bacteria condition known as Chronic Dysbiosis, leaving the rest of the outfit including Killian Gavin, Tim Hart, Jonathan Hart and David Symes on hold.
Released on September 27, Suck on Light was produced by the band and Collin Dupuis at Nashville's Southern Ground Studios and mixed in part by mixer Tom Elmhirst.
The 12-track album includes the singles Hold Your Nerve and Work of Art.
OTHER ENTERTAINMENT NEWS:
After its release, Hold Your Nerve became Triple J's number-one most played song.
Kicking off from March 2020, Boy & Bear will hit regional centres as well as capital cities, including some all-ages shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.
They'll wrap up in May, culminating a 65-plus date global tour in Wollongong after headlining The Drop.
Boy & Bear have released four albums; the first two, Moonfire and Harlequin Dream, reached the top 10 of the Australian albums chart.
Suck on Light Australian Tour 2020 tickets went on sale yesterday.
