The 22-year-old has been nominated for Asian Tour Rookie of the Year and also the PGA Tour of Australasia Player of The Year, to be awarded at the Greg Norman Medal on Tuesday night at Royal Pines on the Gold Coast.
"It's so cool, 12 months down the track I wouldn't have expected to be where I am today," he said.
"You just don't know what to expect when you turn pro, but you just have to play good golf to support yourself."
Murray sits second on the Order of Merit with just next week's Australian PGA left.

He trails Ryan Fox, but given he already holds a European Tour card, Murray will claim that prestigious prize if the pair remains one and two after the Gold Coast tournament.
Murray was tied for fifth in Albury's pro-am on Wednesday.
"I can build a lot of confidence out of it ... I feel like I'm playing a lot better," he said.
